Community Rules

Welcome to myCrew. Every community is unique, with different people, places, and personalities, but all crews share the values of supporting, encouraging, and inspiring others. While your experiences will vary, here are some general rules to follow.

Be Prompt.
The activity starts when the group says it starts. Respect the crew and be on time!

Behave.
We love exploring cities, and we want our cities to love us back. Always cross roads where you're supposed to, respect cars and bikes, and don't trample your neighbors!

Don't Be Shy.
Everyone is here to meet new people, so don't be afraid to introduce yourself or ask questions.

Come Prepared.
Know what you're doing and where you're going - if that means you need a rain jacket and a flashlight, don't be the only one without them!

Stay Hydrated.
That means water, not coffee or beer. We don't want anyone getting dehydrated while out and about.

Protect Yourself.
Never give personal information, such as: your social security number (or National Insurance Number), credit card number or bank information, or your address to people you don’t know or haven’t met in person.
Note: myCrew will never send you an email asking for your username and password information. Any such communication should be reported immediately.

Build Trust.
Keep your communications limited to the myCrew platform and really get to know users as best you can before meeting up. If it’s at night, not in the safest part of the city, and/or nobody else joins the run, maybe try another event. An activity with a Verified Host can be a great way to get started and build your network in person!
